Nannup Water Standpipe Out of Order

The Nannup Standpipe located at the Nannup Recreation Centre is currently out of order with no estimated restoration time. All enquiries regarding the purchase of potable water should be directed to the Shire Administration Office.

All Trails Bicycle Tour

The Shire of Nannup advises all road users that there will be a group of 20 cyclists on the road on Monday 22 April 2024 as part of the All Trails Bicycle Tour, a fully supported cycling holiday. All cyclists will obey all road rules and are fully supported by a support vehicle. They will depart Balingup around 9am, arrive in Nannup around 10:15am via Balingup-Nannup Rd. The group will depart 10:45am via Vasse Hwy, passing through Carlotta around 11:30am through to Manjimup.

Prohibited Burning Period Extended

The Shire of Nannup has extended the Prohibited Burning Period until midnight on Tuesday 30 April 2024. During this time, lighting a fire is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and is an offence under the Bushfire Act 1954. This includes campfire and fire pits for camping and cooking. Pizza ovens and solid fuel BBQs are only allowed when fire danger rating is moderate or below. Check Emergency WA for the current fire danger rating (https://www.emergency.wa.gov.au/#firedangerratings).
