Youth Advisory Council

The Nannup YAC is made up of approximately 10-15 members, all young people, who get together every Monday at the Shire office at 5.00pm to chat, have some munchies and talk about “youth stuff”. The YAC Co-ordinator supports the youth in making decisions to improve facilities and increase activities for the youth of Nannup.

What does it mean to be a YAC member?

You can find out the latest cutting edge info regarding youth activities in WA, especially in the South West.   You can help, and get help, to organise pretty much any youth event, from bus trips to neighbouring towns or beaches, DJ Dance Parties, the annual SK8 Competition or whatever seems a good idea at the time!  Learn and talk about youth issues, from boredom to how to get a job and get some groovy event management skills at the same time.
