On Sunday 20th February 2005 the Shire of Nannup hald a Community Planning Day “Celebrating and Creating our future: Nannup Now and ……then?” at the Nannup Town Hall.

The day was organized by Southwest Healthy Communities Project in conjunction with the Shire of Nannup and supported by South West Development Commission.

The day sought to review the outcomes of the last community planning day held some eight years ago  and build on the achievements since that time.

Mr Jon Doust, a comedian and compare, was the MC for the day.  Mr Chris Williamson, graphic design artist,  captured ideas and turned them into pictures as a running commentary throughout the day.  The excellent murals that resulted will be displayed in the town.  If you have any suggestions as to where the murals could be displayed please contact the Shire with your idea.
