Council will be considering the adoption of the following plans

EMERGENCY SERVICES PLANS

 

It is anticipated that Council will be considering the adoption of the following three plans at its meeting to be held on 26 June 2008.

 

  • District Bush Fire Plan
  • Local Emergency Management Arrangements
  • Community Recovery Plan

 

These plans form part of the obligations imposed on Council under the Emergency Services Act 2005.  The Bush Fire Plan will be considered initially by the Bush Fire Advisory Committee at its meeting of 5 May 2008.  The Local Emergency Management Arrangements and the Community Recovery Plan will be initially considered by the Local Emergency Management Advisory Committee at its next meeting on 9 June 2008.

 

The draft plans are available on Council’s website and any comments on the plans are welcome.
