CONTRACTORS SAFETY INDUCTION SEMINAR

Council is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, which now takes into account the engagement of contractors who provide a variety of services to Council.

To fulfill its obligations in protecting contractors and their employees whilst working on Shire facilities, Council is holding a safety induction seminar for its contractors at 3.00 pm Wednesday 21 May 2008 in the Shire function room. 

All contractors, and there employees, are invited to attend this forum to raise awareness of both Council’s and contractor’s responsibilities in protecting people whilst they are at work on behalf of Council.
