Council Meetings
Council meets at 4.15pm on the fourth Thursday in each month except December. The December meeting date is determined mid year, and is dependant upon when Christmas occurs.
All Council Meetings are open to the public and there is provision for Public Question Time and Deputations/Presentations at the commencement of each meeting. Persons wishing to make a deputation or presentation should contact the Chief Executive Officer to make appropriate arrangements.
Council, each election year, determines Councillor appointments to its Advisory Committees. Advisory Committees generally have no delegated authority and therefore must submit any recommendations to the next Council meeting for endorsement of action. Members of the community wishing to become a member of an Advisory Committee should contact the Chief Executive Officer to discuss participation.
All Council and Advisory Committee meetings are held in the Council Chambers unless otherwise advertised. The Council Chambers are situated at 15 Adam St. Nannup.
