WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY OPENING TIMES
modify opening times for the Waste Management Facility on Mondays
Council at its May 2008 meeting resolved to modify the opening times for the Waste Management Facility (WMF) on Mondays. All other days remain as current. The change indicated below will take effect from 1 September 2008.
Monday – 8.00 am – 1.00 pm
Tuesday – 1.00 pm – 5.00 pm
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday – 9.00 am – 1.00 pm
Friday – 1.00 pm – 5.00 pm
Saturday – 8.00 am – 12.00 pm
Sunday – 1.00 pm – 5.00 pm
The justification for the modification is that use patterns show there is little use of the WMF between 7.00am to 8.00am on Mondays and this hour may better service the public between 12.00pm to 1.00pm on Monday afternoon.
