DRAFT COASTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN

Council at its meeting held 23 October 2008 adopted for the purpose of advertising a site specific South Coast draft management plan and now seeks comment from the community and the wider south west region on the report.  The document seeks to set out the future planning direction for the coastal strip of land contained within the Nannup Shire.

A public meeting and presentation will be held on the draft plan commencing at 5.30pm on Monday 15 December 2008 in the Shirley Humble Room of the Nannup Shire Council Office.

Copies of the report will be available at the above meeting which will be facilitated by Mr Kevin Martin, the report author.

Submissions on the plan are welcome and encouraged with the closing date being Friday 9 January 2009.  All submissions received on the draft plan will be carefully assessed and given careful consideration in the shaping of the final report.
