Council’s Manager Development Services provides assistance and information on a wide range of health-related matters concerning:

- Environmental pollution

- Effluent disposal systems
- Wastewater and drainage
- Asbestos removal and disposal
- Dilapidated dwellings, rubbish, and disused materials

- Building matters, including ventilation

Environmental health throughout the Shire is guided by the Health Act 1911 and it’s subsidiary legislation, the Environmental Protection Act 1986, and Health Local Laws.
