Waste Management Facility
The Waste Management Facility is open during the following days and times:

| Thursday | 9.00am to 1.00pm |
| Friday | 1.00pm to 5.00pm |
| Saturday | 8.00am to 12.00noon |
| Sunday | 1.00pm to 5.00pm |
Please note that as from the 1st September 2008, Monday will be open from 8.00am to 1.00pm
The Facility will not be open on Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
A card style “Tip Pass” has been distributed to rate payers and will permit the householder to deposit household waste at the site until 30 June of the respective year.
Commercial waste, non-household waste and people who wish to use the refuse site and do not possess a tip pass will attract a tipping fee as follows:

The gate attendant has the discretion to charge fees pro rata of the stipulated fee based on a volume estimate that is delivered to the facility.
Occupiers / Owners of Dwellings
If you rent the dwelling you occupy, you will need to obtain a tip pass from the owner or the manager of the property. Owners or managers of dwellings are asked to forward their “Tip Pass” to tenants. If for some reason this is impractical, please contact the Shire office on 9756 1018 and Council staff will issue you with a tip pass after your request is legitimised and recorded on a data base.
