Positions Currently Available

Ranger

  • Full-time permanent position (76 hours per fortnight)

  • 9 day fortnight

  • Gross Salary range: $70,000 to $75,000 per annum dependent upon skills and experience

  • 10.5% guaranteed superannuation plus up to an additional 5% matching employer contribution

The Shire of Nannup, located in the picturesque south west region of WA, offers a desirable lifestyle and opportunity for the position of Ranger to join our dedicated team.

The primary responsibility of the Ranger role is to administer, educates and enforce statutory requirements to achieve compliance with various Acts, Regulations, Local Laws and Council Policies relevant to the local community within the Shire of Nannup.

The position requires a highly motivated individual with a strong passion and commitment to delivering excellent customer service with a strong focus on community education and engagement, while at the same time possessing a strong understanding of applicable legislation. You will have demonstrated experience in negotiation skills, well developed written and verbal communication skills, and experience in report writing and interviewing.  Able to work efficiently, both in a team and autonomously, you possess strong time management and organisational skills.

Applicants must be able to provide a National Police Clearance no more than six months old and a current Western Australia C class driver’s licence.
