What do I need to know?
Before applying for your permit, please read the relevant information on this website, especially the current ‘Bushfire Risk Compliance Notice’. Hardcopies of this and other helpful DFES publications on safe burning practices are also available from the Shire office.
If you need help with your burns, consider joining one of the Shire's Brigades!
Remember to call 000 early if you require assistance to control an escaped burn.
