Community Notice

- A special 16 Days in WA school assembly at Nannup District High School to raise awareness about stopping Family and Domestic Violence.
- This initiative encourages respectful relationships, resilience, and help-seeking behaviours among young people.
- Everyone is invited to attend and show support for creating a safe, inclusive community.

- Presentation of Colouring-In Competition winners (Kindy–Year 2 and Year 3–Year 6)
- Announcement of High School Poster Design Challenge winners
- Gift card prizes for top 3 colouring-in and posters

Primary School Activity:
Students will colour pre-drawn pictures of happy, healthy friendships. Teachers are encouraged to discuss:
- What makes a friendship healthy or unhealthy
- How to respond to bullying or unkind behaviour
- Who to talk to if feeling unsafe or worried
High School Activity:
Students will design posters promoting respectful relationships, equality, consent, and awareness of support services. Teachers may lead discussions on:
- Respectful behaviours, boundaries, and consent
- How alcohol and drug use can affect communication and safety
- Where young people can seek help for themselves or others
Winning posters will be displayed around town with a QR code linking to local and national support services (Holyoake, Headspace, 1800RESPECT, Kids Helpline).
