Community Grants Program
Supporting local projects that strengthen, connect, and inspire our community.
The Shire of Nannup Community Grants Program provides financial support to not‑for‑profit organisations delivering projects that enhance community wellbeing, encourage participation, and align with the Shire’s long‑term strategic vision.
What the Program Supports
We prioritise initiatives that:
- Benefit the Nannup community
- Encourage collaboration and community involvement
- Promote sustainability and reduce reliance on grants
- Align with the Shire’s Community Strategic Plan 2021–2036
- Showcase creativity or address emerging community needs
Eligible applicants are not‑for‑profit community organisations (preferably incorporated), with individuals considered only where strong community benefit is demonstrated.
Projects We’ve Supported
Here are some examples of projects funded in recent rounds:
- Outdoor Cinema Events
Affordable indoor film nights and free outdoor summer screenings delivered by Nannup Community Cinema, supported through fee waivers.
- Blackwood River Arts Trail Guide Printing
Design and print of 6,000 trail guides promoting regional artists and encouraging cultural tourism across the South West.
- RSL Hall Toilet Upgrades
Refurbishment of ageing facilities to support community events including UCI Gravel World Championship activities.
