Nannup Recreation & Community Centre

The Nannup Recreation & Community Centre Precinct is situated on Warren Road, it is a multi-purpose sporting and community facility, comprising of the Function Centre, Town Oval with Change Rooms, Sports Hall & Community Meeting Room. This integral part of our community facilities is a vibrant community hub hosting dinners, meetings and activities for all ages. These spaces can he hired as a whole space or in part to host events and festivals and importantly becomes an official Evacuation Centre during declared emergencies and the oval is used as a heli-pad for emergency services.

     

The FUNCTION CENTRE offers a spacious, versatile venue featuring a fully equipped commercial kitchen and a licensed bar. Designed for flexibility, the centre includes inbuilt concertina walls that allow you to transform one large open space into two separate, well-sized rooms—perfect for hosting events of all kinds. The TOWN OVAL is used for Seasonal Sports such as Cricket and AFL Football for juniors & seniors and has 2 changerooms, one for each team with amenities such as hot showers.

The SPORTS HALL has one multi-use newly marked court surface with lines for indoor basketball, netball, rebound soccer, two volleyball and four badminton courts that can also be used for pickleball and a freshly renovated canteen. The Hall features a stage that can be used for elevated spectator seating, performances or presentations. The space can be hired on a causal or seasonal basis for sporting or community events.

The COMMUNITY MEETING ROOM adjoins the Recreation Centre and is available for hire for social functions. The Community Meeting Room has limited kitchen facilities however, the new Function Room which is also available for hire, has a commercial kitchen and is suitable for all types of functions.
