Businesses can secure up to $250k in matched funding
Time is running out for local businesses in the native forestry region to secure up to $250,000 in matched funding through the Timber Region Transition Grant. This grant is designed to support businesses ready to diversify and create sustainable employment opportunities.
To qualify, your business must be based within one of the 15 designated local government areas, hold a WA-based ACN or ABN, and be registered for GST. Demonstrating financial stability through recent statements is essential, and you must be prepared to enter a binding agreement with the WA Government.
A comprehensive business plan is a critical component of your application, showcasing your project's feasibility and your capacity to complete it within 12 months.
The selection committee is particularly interested in projects that will generate quality jobs, foster economic diversification aligned with regional priorities, and exhibit innovation and environmental sustainability. This is a significant chance to propel your business forward while contributing positively to the community. Ensure you submit a thorough application before the deadline to take advantage of this transformative opportunity.
