The Shire of Nannup invites residents to attend the Nannup Fire Ready Community Expo, an informative and practical community event designed to help you protect your family, property and community before the fire season begins.
Come and see what you can do and hear from local emergency management experts and learn about:
✅ Firebreaks and property preparation
✅ Restricted burning periods and current regulations
✅ Burn permits and burn-off notification requirements
✅ Household bushfire planning and preparedness
✅ The DFES Virtual Reality Fire Experience
✅ Local volunteer opportunities with our Volunteer Fire Brigades, SES and Fire Services
Enjoy a free tasty barbeque and refreshments kindly provided by the Lions Club and catering from Loose Goose.
This is a valuable opportunity to ask questions, gain practical advice and ensure your household is ready before the fire season starts and show your support for our voluntary crews.
