The Australia Day activities for 2027 are assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.
Celebrate Australia Day in Nannup with a series of free, inclusive, and family-friendly events at Foreshore Park.

Outdoor Movie Night - Saturday 23 January 2027
The Nannup Australia Day celebrations will bring the community together across three free, family-friendly events held at Foreshore Park. The festivities begin with the Community Cinema presenting an Outdoor Movie Night from 6.30 pm, providing a relaxed evening under the stars where families and friends can gather to enjoy a community film experience.
Outdoor Splash - Monday 25 January 2027
Australia Day morning continues with the Outdoor Splash and Backyard Cricket from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm. Families can cool off on a range of water-play inflatables, enjoy friendly games of backyard cricket, and share classic Australian refreshments including Vegemite sandwiches and fresh watermelon. This event encourages active participation, intergenerational connection and outdoor recreation.
Nannup Australia Day Breakfast and Community Citizen Awards - Tuesday 26 January 2027
The celebrations culminate with the 31st Nannup Australia Day Breakfast and Community Citizen Awards, where the community comes together to recognise outstanding local volunteers and community contributors. Featuring a free community breakfast, local entertainment and the presentation of awards, the event celebrates community spirit, civic pride, inclusion and the people who make Nannup a vibrant and connected place to live.

- Nannup Youth Citizen of the Year (12 to 24 years of age)
- Nannup Citizen of the Year (25 years and over)
- Nannup Senior Citizen of the Year (65 years and over)
- Nannup Community Group of the Year
