Community Notice

Nannup is fortunate to have an outstanding volunteer‑run community group—Nannup Community Cinema Inc., the 2026 Australian Citizen Awards Community Group winner—bringing arts and culture to life through weekly film screenings.

• 
  Each month, the community is invited to enjoy a welcoming, affordable movie night right here in Nannup.
• The snack bar opens at 6.30pm, followed by the evening’s film beginning promptly at 7.00pm. 
• Popcorn and choc bombs for sale
• Affordable entertainment: $10.00 per ticket at the door 
• Presented by a passionate local volunteer committee
• Diverse film selections throughout the year
• A friendly, social community event supporting local arts and culture
• Screenings are held at the Nannup Town Hall, with alternative venues used when the Town Hall is unavailable. (7 April - 11 May 2026 RSL Hall)
• Join the community, enjoy a great film, and help support local arts and culture.

FRIDAY MAY 15 – The Big Bike Film Night (prequel to the Seven Gravel Race) RSL Hall - bar and snack bar open for intermission at 8.15pm

WEDNESDAY MAY 27 – Japanese Story (M).  RSL Hall. (This is a WA movie for WA Day)

SATURDAY JUNE 20: The Apartment (PG). RSL Hall  

WEDNESDAY JULY 8: The Fantastic Mr Fox (PG). RSL Hall (School Holiday Movie)

FRIDAY AUGUST 7: The Rose Maker (M) (part of the Flower and Garden Festival). RSL

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19: Classic movie night. The Apartment (PG). TOWN HALL

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 30: Zootopia 2 (PG). School holiday movie. TOWN HALL

OCTOBER: World Gravel Championships Big Bike Film Nights. SECRET GARDEN

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 11: The Water Diviner (M) (Remembrance Day). TOWN HALL

DECEMBER: Outdoor season begins. Dates TBC.
