Nannup is fortunate to have an outstanding volunteer‑run community group—Nannup Community Cinema Inc., the 2026 Australian Citizen Awards Community Group winner—bringing arts and culture to life through weekly film screenings.
Each month, the community is invited to enjoy a welcoming, affordable movie night right here in Nannup.
The Community Cinema is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible experience for all patrons. To support community members who are deaf or hard of hearing, and those who may find it difficult to follow dialogue in a cinema setting, subtitles will now be included in future screenings wherever available. The committee will continue to explore opportunities to improve accessibility and ensure everyone can enjoy the cinema experience.
- The snack bar opens at 6.30pm, followed by the evening’s film beginning promptly at 7.00pm.
- Popcorn and choc bombs for sale
- Affordable entertainment: $10.00 per ticket at the door
- Presented by a passionate local volunteer committee
- Diverse film selections throughout the year
- A friendly, social community event supporting local arts and culture
- Screenings are held at the Nannup Town Hall, with alternative venues used when the Town Hall is unavailable. (7 April - 11 May 2026 RSL Hall)
