All About the Event
“The Tour,” affectionately named by local riders, was established in 2017 by a group of passionate community cyclists committed to improving the future of local youth.
Its purpose is to:
- Raise community awareness about youth mental health,
- Encourage open conversations and reduce stigma, and
- Support education around mental wellbeing.
- Fund Mental Health projects across the Blackwood Region
To make the event accessible, organisers have created three distinct ride courses, each catering to different riding abilities and experience levels.
The 2026 Tour will see riders follow mapped routes through the region, showcasing the natural beauty of the Blackwood Valley while promoting an important social cause.
