🎙️ THE VOICES OF NANNUP | FIVE NEW STORIES
The Shire of Nannup is proud to launch five new recordings as part of the Voices of Nannup Oral History Project.
On Wednesday 12 August, community members, family, friends and project supporters gathered to celebrate the next chapter of this much-loved initiative and recognise five local storytellers who have generously shared their experiences, memories and connections to Nannup.
Building on the success of the first 20 episodes, the latest collection features stories of family, forestry, community life, resilience, creativity and the people who have helped shape the unique character of our town. Together, these recordings preserve an important part of Nannup's living history and ensure these voices can be enjoyed by future generations.

Each story provides a unique glimpse into Nannup's past and ensures these important local memories are preserved for future generations.
Made possible through funding support from the Heritage Council of Western Australia, the latest series expands the growing collection of local stories documenting the people, industries, events and experiences that have shaped our community.
The new stories feature Chris Roycroft, Margaret Rutter, Shirley Kearney, Imelda and Wendy Slee, and Woggy Marlow and Ernest Gizzarelli.
Each recording captures a unique perspective on life in Nannup and contributes to a lasting community archive that will be enjoyed by current and future generations.
Episodes will be released weekly, beginning tomorrow, Thursday 14 August.
