Deliver a Fun‑Filled April School Holiday Program
The Shire of Nannup is excited to deliver a vibrant April 2026 School Holiday Program, proudly supported by our local community groups, regional partners and volunteers. With activities designed to help children and young people connect, learn and have fun, this year’s program offers something for everyone.
This April’s activities align perfectly with the Noongar Season of Djeran, a cool and pleasant time ideal for outdoor adventures.
The holidays begin with a Movie Night screening Kangaroo (PG) at the Nannup RSL Hall, thanks to the continued support of the Community Cinema team who bring movie experiences to our community.
Young creatives can enjoy a Spray Painting workshop at Foreshore Park, led by local artist Leanne White, who generously shares her skills to build confidence and creativity in young people. Keep an eye out for her after‑school art program launching in Term 2.
The Regional School Holiday Program also returns, offering a free Indigenous cultural experience for young people aged 10–17. With art activities, sport and traditional games for everyone, this program encourages outdoor play, cultural learning and social connection.
A key highlight is the full‑day School Holiday Bus Trip, delivered in partnership with the Shire of Nannup and the Community Resource Centre. This adventure includes:
- A sweet stop at the Chocolate Factory
- A fun session of Golf Soccer with pizza for lunch
- A visit to the incredible WOW Illusions attraction
The Shire of Nannup warmly thanks all community groups, families and volunteers whose support makes these programs possible. Their contribution helps us continue offering meaningful, inclusive and memorable holiday experiences for Nannup’s children and young people.
