The Warren Blackwood Alliance of Councils (WBAC) is developing a Regional Trails Strategy for the Shires of Boyup Brook, Bridgetown-Greenbushes, Donnybrook-Balingup, Manjimup and Nannup.
As a member of the Alliance, we are proud to be working collaboratively to lead this important initiative for the Southern Forests and Valleys region.
The strategy will help guide future planning, investment, maintenance and promotion of trails across the region, supporting a wide range of nature-based experiences including walking, hiking, mountain biking, gravel cycling, horse riding, paddling and four-wheel driving.
Community feedback is now being sought through an online survey. Whether you are a regular trail user or would simply like to see more opportunities in the future, your input will play an important role in shaping the direction of trails across our region.
We are particularly seeking feedback on:
- πΏ What is working well
- πΆ Current challenges and gaps
- π΄ Opportunities for future trails
- π Priorities for investment and maintenance
- ποΈ How trails can better support local communities, businesses and tourism
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and will remain open for the next six weeks.
We encourage all community members and visitors to have their say and help shape a connected, high-quality trail network for the Southern Forests and Valleys.
