The Shire of Nannup is excited to launch our new online Facilities Booking Tool — a community‑friendly service that makes it easier than ever to organise local activities. This digital upgrade reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting a socially active and connected community where clubs, groups and events continue to thrive.
The new tool allows residents to explore all Shire venues in one place, complete with descriptions, photos, features and location details. Each venue now has its own page highlighting what the space is best suited for, making it easier to find the perfect place for your activity — whether it's a meeting, concert, workshop, rehearsal, celebration or community event.
A key feature is the real‑time availability calendar, giving you a clear month‑by‑month view of when a venue is free. When you find a suitable date, you can secure it instantly using the 'Book Now' button, placing a tentative booking while you prepare the remaining details.
Upon receiving your Book Now notice the Shire Facilities staff will make a courtesy call to discuss the vision for your booking and will cover topics such as room set-up, capacity, equipment needs, key collection, & payment options. For larger activities, our Events Officer may provide additional support to help everything run smoothly.
This new system is an important step in making our community spaces easier to use. By improving access to information and simplifying the booking process, we’re helping community members plan confidently and participate more easily in the activities that make Nannup vibrant.
