Nannup Family Fun Festival Delivers a Month of Connection and Joy
The Family Fun Festival brought Nannup to life throughout January, offering a vibrant series of free, family-friendly activities designed to bring people of all ages together.
Born from Nannup’s much-loved historic Family Fun Day, the Festival evolved to reflect what Nannup has become — a welcoming destination for families across the South West, while keeping a strong focus on local connection. Rather than one large event, the Festival was reimagined as a more intimate, intergenerational program spread across the month, creating multiple opportunities for families to gather, participate and enjoy.
With activities running throughout January and culminating in Australia Day celebrations, the festival was met with fantastic feedback from the community and visitors alike. Seeing families, children, young people and seniors coming together across the events highlighted exactly what the Festival set out to achieve — meaningful connection, fun and a shared sense of community.
The Family Fun Festival was bought to you by the Nannup Local Drug Action Group together with the Shire o Nannup and was free to the whole community by the generous funding from Alcohol and Drug Foundation, Talison Lithium and Australia Day Council.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and helped make the Family Fun Festival such a memorable success.
