The Nannup Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with Tourism WA, the Shire of Nannup and Cycling Eventures, is proud to deliver a vibrant Family Zone as part of the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships community activation program.
Set within the heart of the event precinct on the corner of Brockman Street and Warren Road, the Family Zone will create a lively hub of activity where locals and visitors can gather, relax and soak up the atmosphere of one of the world's premier cycling events.
While elite riders take on the challenge of the UCI Gravel World Championships, the Family Zone will showcase the warm community spirit, creativity and hospitality that make Nannup such a memorable destination. Bringing a festival atmosphere to the event weekend, the space will offer plenty of reasons to linger, explore and celebrate, creating opportunities for families, residents and visitors to enjoy all that Nannup has to offer.
The Family Zone is led by the Nannup Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with Tourism WA and the Shire of Nannup. Together, they are working to create an experience that extends beyond the race itself, supporting local businesses, encouraging visitors to spend more time in town and showcasing the unique character of the Nannup community.
Visitors can look forward to a colourful mix of family-friendly entertainment and activities, including live music, roving performers, creative experiences, giant games, nature-based activities and interactive attractions that will bring energy and excitement to the town throughout the championship weekend.
Shire President Cr Tony Dean said the partnership reflects Nannup's commitment to welcoming the world and ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.

As thousands of competitors, support crews and visitors descend on Nannup for the global cycling event, the Family Zone will provide a welcoming place to gather, celebrate and experience the pride, hospitality and festival spirit for which Nannup is renowned.
The UCI Gravel World Championships will be held in Nannup from 9 to 11 October 2026.
From world-class cycling to community celebration, the Family Zone will showcase Nannup at its very best, inviting visitors to discover the festivals, vibrant community spirit, natural beauty and warm country welcome that define the town.
