School Holiday Bus Trip a Big Hit with Nannup Kids
The Shire of Nannup recently hosted a school holiday bus trip, and it was a fantastic day out by all accounts. A big thank you to Allison Peacock for driving the bus and to the Nannup CRC for partnering with the Shire of Nannup to make this excursion possible.
Our Nannup kids once again proved just how awesome they are—polite, well‑behaved and a real pleasure to have along for the day. A great time was had by all, starting with a visit to the Chocolate Factory, where participants enjoyed watching chocolates being made (and, of course, sampling some treats). There was also time for a game of chasey in the backyard, which was a highlight for many.
The group then headed to Golf Gardens for a new experience—soccer golf. While it wasn’t as easy as it sounds, a little friendly competition made it even more fun. Everyone was a winner in the end with homemade pizzas to finish off the visit.
The final stop was WOW Illusions, which delivered plenty of laughs and surprises. The kids had so much fun they even managed to fit in a game of hide and seek inside the illusion rooms. It’s well worth a visit and only around an hour’s drive from Nannup.
