The inaugural Southern Forests & Valleys Heritage Festival will take place from Saturday, 19th April to Sunday, 4th May 2025, bringing together the vibrant towns of:

The festival spans across the charming towns of Balingup, Walpole, Nannup, Boyup Brook, Bridgetown, Pemberton, Greenbushes, Manjimup, Northcliffe, and Donnybrook. Each town offers unique events and activities that will immerse you in the history and culture that have shaped the Southern Forests & Valleys.

Nannup Historical Society & Museum

Dedicated to preserving and sharing the incredible stories of our town’s past. With a collection of over 3,000 photographs and fascinating memorabilia, we bring history to life for visitors of all ages.

Nannup RSL Hall Tour

The RSL Hall will be open to the public with volunteer-hosted tours and a fascinating display of historical memorabilia.

Heritage Festival Special Screening: Night Calling

Nannup Community Resource Centre, 10 Warren Road Nannup

Join us for a special screening of Night Calling, a breathtaking documentary by acclaimed WA filmmaker Sue Taylor. Filmed in the stunning Nannup and Margaret River regions, this film follows local ornithologist Dr. Boyd Wykes and his fascinating study of the elusive Masked Owl.
