COMMUNITY NOTICE
- The Shire of Nannup has submitted an application for sponsorship through the Heritage Sponsorship Program 2025–26.
- (We will be notified in March 2026) Proposed funding will support:
Five new Oral History interviews to capture and preserve local stories.
Activities and events during the 2026 Heritage Festival.
- We are seeking submissions from local groups and organisations for events and activities that:
Showcase Nannup's unique culture, and heritage.
Celebrate the traditions and stories that have shaped Nannup.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
- Celebrate Nannup’s unique heritage as part of the Southern Forests & Valleys Heritage Festival.
- Dates: Saturday 18 April – Sunday 26 April 2026.
- Immerse yourself in local stories, traditions, and landscapes that define our community.
- Enjoy:
- Heritage walks and historic tours through Nannup’s charming streets and surrounds, view the history through window displays
- Family-friendly activities for all ages.
- Cultural workshops.
- Dress up photo booth.
- Connect with local storytellers and discover the tales that shaped Nannup.
- Locations to listen to 2025 Oral Histories project of 20 locals to celebrate the past, present, and future of our vibrant community.
- Listen to Nannup's Oral History Podcasts as you are driving around the Southern Forest and Valleys
- Nannup Oral History Stories
- Events and activities will span across all the charming town of Balingup, Walpole, Nannup, Boyup Brook, Bridgetown, Pemberton, Greenbushes, Manjimup, Donnybrook and Northcliffe.
