Black Dog Ride – Nannup Stop
Nannup will once again support the Black Dog Ride, a nationwide one‑day event raising awareness of depression and suicide prevention.
- Bikes will park along Brockman Street as they enter to town
One in five Australians experience a mental health condition each year, and over 3 million Australians are living with depression or anxiety. Breaking down the barrier of silence encourages our friends, family and colleagues to seek help — because mental illness is just that, an illness.
Event Highlights
- Date: Saturday 16 March
- Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm
- Location: Nannup Town Hall
- What’s On: Morning tea for all riders
Thousands of riders across Australia will come together on the same day to kick‑start conversations around suicide prevention. Nannup will be supporting the WA South West sector of the ride, welcoming riders with a morning tea at the Nannup Town Hall.
More Info
Fostering awareness is a key catalyst for encouraging help‑seeking behaviour and preventing suicide. Community conversations play an important role in reducing stigma and supporting mental wellbeing.
Community members are encouraged to head down, chat with the riders, enjoy a cuppa, and continue the conversation.
