Black Dog Ride – Nannup Stop
Nannup will once again support the Black Dog Ride, a nationwide oneโ€‘day event raising awareness of depression and suicide prevention.

  • Bikes will park along Brockman Street as they enter to town

One in five Australians experience a mental health condition each year, and over 3 million Australians are living with depression or anxiety. Breaking down the barrier of silence encourages our friends, family and colleagues to seek help — because mental illness is just that, an illness.

Event Highlights

  • Date: Saturday 16 March
  • Time: 11:00am – 12:00pm
  • Location: Nannup Town Hall
  • What’s On: Morning tea for all riders

Thousands of riders across Australia will come together on the same day to kickโ€‘start conversations around suicide prevention. Nannup will be supporting the WA South West sector of the ride, welcoming riders with a morning tea at the Nannup Town Hall.

More Info

Fostering awareness is a key catalyst for encouraging helpโ€‘seeking behaviour and preventing suicide. Community conversations play an important role in reducing stigma and supporting mental wellbeing.

Community members are encouraged to head down, chat with the riders, enjoy a cuppa, and continue the conversation.
