The Blackwood Classic 250 is one of the original power dinghy races when the Power Dinghy Racing Club was formed in 1978.
As one of the original races, the Blackwood Classic 250 is a popular event, run on the lower Blackwood River, enjoying the beautiful views throughout the Nannup river system.
The Power Dinghy Racing Club has an approved Permit from the Department of Transport Maritime for the Blackwood Classic 250 as an Aquatic Event, under Regulation 51C of the Navigable Waters Regulations 1958.
