Book your tickets and come to the Nannup Town Hall on Saturday, 18 October 2025 for a powerful evening of storytelling, connection, and community support. Brought to you by the Nannup Community Cinema and the Black Dog Ride Australia Community Grants program which is focused on supporting initiatives that; help people who suffer from mental illness, help prevent suicide, and raise awareness of both mental health and suicide prevention.
Schedule: Doors open at 4:00pm, with the film screening of Just a Farmer at 5:00pm (runtime: 1hr 43mins). After a short break, stay for light meal and panel discussion and Q&A at 7:00-8:00pm, featuring mental health advocates Dr Sarah Youngson, Dee Melbourne, and Jon Eddy, followed by a light meal.
This free event is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges faced by rural communities and the importance of mental health support.
