Nannup Confirmed as Host Community for 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships

Nannup has taken another significant step onto the world cycling stage, with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) officially announcing the courses for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships (GWC), to be hosted in and around Nannup.

This announcement formally confirms Nannup as the host community for this international event and recognises the region’s gravel roads, forests and landscapes as being of worldโ€‘class standard. With riders expected to travel from around the globe, the Championships will place Nannup front and centre in international cycling media, creating opportunities for local businesses, accommodation providers, volunteers and community groups.

The announcement has also been shared with the SEVEN Gravel Race electronic mailing list, ensuring thousands of riders worldwide are already aware of Nannup’s role as host of the upcoming World Championships. Tiffany Cromwell, professional cyclist and GWC Ambassador, is also expected to share the news through her social media channels shortly, further highlighting Nannup and the South West to an international audience.

Continued global exposure through SEVEN Gravel Race

International awareness of Nannup continues to grow through the success of the SEVEN Gravel Race, which is already delivering strong participation numbers and extensive online exposure.

SEVEN Gravel Race registrations remain strong, with 1,806 riders already registered, and organisers expecting participation to approach the 2,000โ€‘rider cap, despite rising fuel costs.
