Nannup Markets Continue to Shine as a Cornerstone of Community Life

The Nannup Markets are set to return with renewed energy in 2026, reaffirming their place as one of the town’s most treasured community traditions. Held every second Saturday morning and proudly supported by Nannup Garden Village Inc, the markets offer more than a shopping experience—they celebrate local identity, creativity, and the resilience of small businesses that shape the character of Nannup.

Across generations, the markets have functioned as a gathering point for residents and visitors alike, providing a warm and welcoming space that reflects the town’s values: community spirit, connection, and support for local enterprise.

Stallholders bring a vibrant range of goods to the heart of town each market morning. Shoppers can expect everything from fresh local produce, plants, gemstones, household items, and handโ€‘crafted pieces, to a friendly chat with the makers themselves. The atmosphere is unhurried, colourful, and distinctly Nannup—part marketplace, part meeting place.

While the markets run throughout the year, the early 2026 schedule comes with a small adjustment. Due to the timing of Easter and ANZAC Day, April’s markets fall slightly outside the usual pattern. The March–April 2026 dates are:

  • Saturday 28 March – 8:00am to 12:00pm
  • Saturday 4 April – 8:00am to 12:00pm (Easter long weekend)
  • Saturday 18 April – 8:00am to 12:00pm (ANZAC week adjustment)

From May onward, the markets continue every second Saturday as usual, including the winter indoor season at the Nannup Town Hall.

Local organiser Denise Green commented “Our stallholders put so much passion into what they do. The markets bring people together—locals, visitors, families. It’s a snapshot of what Nannup is all about.”

Whether you’re browsing for homeโ€‘grown produce, stopping in for a chat, or supporting the creativity of local makers, the Nannup Markets continue to play an important role in fostering community pride and sustaining small, independent businesses.
