The Australia Day activities for 2026 are assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.
Celebrate Australia Day in Nannup with a series of free, inclusive, and family-friendly events at Foreshore Park. From water play and outdoor movies to a community breakfast and awards ceremony, there’s something for everyone. The Australia Day Breakfast and Awards is a highlight of the program – a welcoming event where all are invited to enjoy a free BBQ breakfast, honour the achievements of our local community members and contribute to the Indigenous Art Circle.
Hosted by the Shire of Nannup in collaboration with local businesses and the community, we encourage community members to reflect, respect and celebrate their local community.
Saturday 24 January 2026 - Australia Day – Outdoor Movie Night
Presented in partnership with the Nannup Cinema Club
Wrap up your Australia Day with a relaxing evening under the stars at Foreshore Park. Bring a picnic rug or chair and enjoy a family-friendly film in the great outdoors.

Start your Australia Day with a warm welcome and a hearty breakfast at Foreshore Park, proudly assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council

This is a free, family-friendly event celebrating the spirit of Nannup and the contributions of our local heroes.
Tuesday 27 January 2026 - Australia Day – Outdoor Splash!
Cool off, have fun, and celebrate together, proudly supported by our Emergency Services.
Join us for a morning of water-filled fun at Foreshore Park with giant inflatable water slides, splash zones and back yard cricket – perfect for beating the summer heat!

Location: Foreshore Park, Nannup
Cost $5.00 for anyone wanting to use the slides (includes an ice-cream)
Bring your hat, sunscreen, towel, and a big smile – this is a family-friendly event for all ages.
